By taking a quick peek at the ingredients list of a popular beauty product, you might be surprised to learn that there’s no “oxygen” in it.
The ingredient list for the new face mask, Oxygen Mask, contains a lot of terms like “oxygenic,” “organic,” and “natural.”
But what is the real deal?
The answer is oxygen, and it’s the name the mask itself uses to describe what it’s made of.
But the ingredients are only part of the story.
“What’s important is to know what ingredients are in this mask and the reason why it’s so effective at improving your vision,” says Elizabeth Fagan, M.D., a ophthalmologist and clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology at Duke University Medical Center.
You can find the ingredients in the product on the Oxygen Mask page on Amazon, but here are the basics: Hydrogen peroxide helps kill harmful bacteria in your eyes, helping you see in the dark, protect your vision and make your skin more supple.
L-ascorbic acid helps the eyes absorb and retain more nutrients.
A blend of glycerin and sodium lauryl sulfate helps soften your skin.
Oleic acid helps your eyes stay hydrated and bright, so your skin can absorb more nutrients and keep your eyes healthy.
Carbon dioxide helps keep your skin moist and fresh, so you can stay hydrate and maintain a healthy glow.
Mica helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Cocoa extract helps improve the appearance and texture of your skin, as well as your eyes.
PEG-40 helps to improve your skin’s elasticity, as it acts as a glue.
Silica helps your eyes maintain their clarity and moisture. Vitamin E helps reduce the amount of free radicals that damage your eye’s cornea.
Aloe helps prevent the formation of free radical-rich dusts.
Alpha hydroxy acid help improve the color of your irises.
Chromium helps protect your eyes from free radicals, which can damage your vision.
Iron helps help keep your iris healthy.
“We know that some of the ingredients we use in our products work by altering the structure of your blood vessels,” Fagan says.
“This results in a reduction in the amount that circulates around your eyeball.
Our aim is to deliver the highest quality products that you can rely on to get the best benefits.”
What to look for in the Oxygen mask The Oxygen Face Mask is made of two different ingredients: Hydrogen peroxide and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.
Both are safe for most people, but you’ll notice a few differences between them.
Hydrate: In the Oxygo, the mask contains a mixture of sodium laustral and hyaluronic acid.
It’s very hydrating, and while it won’t leave your eyes feeling dry, it will make your vision brighter and help keep the skin smooth. Benefits: The mask is a natural moisturizer that helps to prevent wrinkles and dark circles.
It also helps to reduce the formation and growth of free-radical-rich particles in your cornea and helps protect your skin from the sun.
Skin: Because the mask has two different components, it’s best to take it off and try again when you have the opportunity.
Although the mask does contain ingredients that can improve your eyesight, it does not help your eyes function properly or look like they’re aging.
To prevent your eyes becoming dull or yellow, wear a light protective eye mask while you’re using it.
When to use it: When you’re on the go, you may want to take a quick glance at the ingredient list to see if there’s anything you might need to adjust to get your eyes looking younger.
To prevent any possible irritation, you can also try using it when you’re wearing a protective eye or mask for a couple of minutes.
When to stop using it: As long as you’re still using it on a regular basis, you should continue to use the mask.
What’s in the Oxid Face Mask?
Oygen masks are typically made from two ingredients: hydrogen peroxygenate and sodium Laurylsulfate, which are both very hydrators and antioxidants.
Hyaluron is also added, which helps to soften and hydrate the skin.
Hydrogen is also a byproduct of the production of glycerin, which is made up of glycolic acid and alginate.
It’s an oil that helps skin and hair cells to work more effectively.
