ESPN’s College GameDay will take on the 2018 Heisman Trophy, featuring three rounds of voting.
Here’s how each of the contenders fared in the previous rounds:The Heisman is awarded annually to the nation’s top player.
The most recent winner was Alabama’s Jameis Winston, who won the award last year.
The other four finalists have been Heisman-nominated players in the past: Ohio State’s Ezekiel Elliott, Auburn’s Leonard Fournette, Clemson’s Deshaun Watson and Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield.
Florida State’s Dalvin Cook and LSU’s Leonard Ellerbe were among the finalists last year, as were Alabama’s Cam Newton and Auburn’s Jalen Hurts.
Alabama is the reigning national champion, with a record of 12-1 in conference play and No. 2 in the AP poll.
The Crimson Tide are No. 4 in the Coaches Poll, while LSU and Florida are both No. 5.
Florida and Clemson were tied in the Associated Press poll last year as well, with Alabama at No. 6 and Clemson at No, 7.
Wisconsin coach Mike Riley and LSU coach Les Miles have been on opposite sides of the Heisman debate for years, with Miles taking the No. 1 spot in the BCS rankings and Riley finishing in the No 1 spot.
The BCS announced the final BCS standings on Saturday.
In this week, the BCP announced the winner of the award for the B1G (Bachelor of Arts), B2G (Master of Business Administration) and B1M (Business Information Management) schools.
